Nine minutes into the second half, Billy Hunt made it 1 – 3 before substitute Muhammadu Faal’s late penalty halved the arrears.

Lewes 0 – 1  Carshalton Athletic | Venue: Dripping Pan  | Att: 613

Carshalton defeated Lewes at the Dripping Pan in a battle of two newly-promoted sides. The only goal came just shy of the hour thanks to Ola Sogbanmu’s effort.

Worthing recovered from a goal down to attain the points at Woodside. Wingate led on 34 minutes thanks to Sean Cronin’s penalty though a brace from debutant Callum Kealy [39′ & 56′] turned the match on its head.
