By contrast, Stortford are looking for their first triumph this term.

Brightlingsea Regent  0 – 3   Margate    | North Road | Att: 206

Margate’s first-half display was enough to give them all three points at North Road. Joe Taylor broke the stalemate after 14 minutes. Frannie Collin weighed in heavily with a brace before the half was out, first from the spot on 31 minutes and then ten minutes afterward to give Mike Sandmann’s side the win.

Both sides took their first point of the season as it ended honours-even.

Though the ‘Never say die’ attitude of Jimmy MacFarlane’s men was on display again as Brad Warner pulled one back with a expert free-kick 11 minutes from time. Sean Marks completed the turnaround on the cusp of full-time as both sides also remain unbeaten.

Harlow Town   0 – 2      Worthing             |  The Harlow Arena  | Att: 220

The visitors withstood the challenge from ten-man Harlow to obtain the win at the Harlow Arena. Goals from Ricky Aguiar [25′] and David Ajiboye [90’+2] did the job to maintain the Woodside outfit’s 100% winning start to the season. Paul Rodgers was the man dismissed for the hosts.

Leatherhead  2 – 1  Haringey Borough   | Fetchams Grove  | Att: 335

The Tanners overcame Borough at Fetchams Grove to attain their first win of the season. Ten-man Brackley struck late to deny Billericay an outright place in the next round at the first time of asking. Aaron Williams put the Saints ahead after just two minutes and that lead stood at half-time. Billericay responded after the break and levelled through Adam Cunnington two minutes after the break. Substitute Louis Theophanous gave ‘Ricay the lead on 72 minutes though that lead only lasted four minutes before Adam Walker restored parity for the National League North side. During an extended amount of injury-time due to a serious injury to Hereford’s Preen, Gavin Hoyte was also sent off to end a not-so-momentous day for the National League Premier hosts though unsurprisingly the same cannot be said for the visitors who endured a nervy end to the match.

Venue: Coles Park   | Attendance: 401

This much-anticipated all-Isthmian North tie certainly lived up to its billing.. and then some as Swifts emerged with the win and earmarked their place in the next round. Lawrence Yiga’s OG on 14 minutes gave Jody Brown’s side the lead and that narrow led lasted until after half-time. Haringey levelled 12 minutes after the break through hot-shot Ralston Gabriel. A three-goal burst from Sam Bantick [65’] and Luke Callander’s brace [pen 69’ & 73’] put the visitors in a very strong position. Oxford City  1 – 0   Bognor Regis Town

Venue: Marsh Lane         | Attendance: 406

City edged this encounter to make it into the next round. Matthew Paterson got the only goal of the match on 32 minutes though it could have been more comfortable though Paterson fluffed his lines from a spot-kick.
