The action started on Friday night as Brentwood narrowly lost out to Maldon. The only goal came from Stephane Ngamvoulou on the half-hour which gave the Jammers their third win in their last four matches to go 2nd on goal difference. Town fall to 13th.

Saturday 26th January

Aveley  0 – 1  Bowers & Pitsea  |Parkside (3G) | Att: 359

Bowers edged this top-of-the-table clash. Lewis Manor got the decisive goal after 29 minutes which gave them their 8th win in their last nine matches. The Millers’ five-match unbeaten run ended here and they fell to 4th – seven points behind leaders Bowers.

Canvey Island  2 – 0  Grays Athletic  | Park Lane |Att: 287

Canvey secured another valuable three points with two first-half strikes. Marlon Agyakwa opened the scoring on 31 minutes with Josh Hutchinson [44’] making it two just before half-time. No further goals cropped up so CIFC are five matches unbeaten and up to 7th. Grays’ third straight defeat sees them in 9th.

Coggeshall Town  0 – 0  Dereham Town | West Street | Att: 90

Dereham got a very respectable point at West Street as they held high-scoring Cogg. Despite this result, they are winless in 12 matches now though they have clawed level with Romford and Mildenhall in the relegation running. One win in their last four has seen them in 5th, six points adrift of Aveley in 4th.

Felixstowe & Walton Utd   1 – 0   Great Wakering Rovers | Dellwood Ave | Att: 400

Felixstowe got a narrow win, in front of a mega crowd of 400 at Dellwood Avenue. Miles Powell’s 80th minute goal gave the hosts the win and sees them up to 12th. Wakering’s fourth loss in their last five sees the down to 17th, seven points clear of the bottom three.

Heybridge Swifts  2 – 0  AFC Sudbury  | Scraley Road |Att: 169

Heybridge got back to winning ways with a goal in each half. Luke Wilson put Swifts ahead on 22 minutes before Kreshnic Krasniqi made the points safe three minutes from time. Swifts’ 7th win in their last nine games means they go up to 3rd, level on points with Maldon. The Suds are in a mini-blip with 3 losses in their last four games, they fall to 8th place.

Mildenhall Town  0 – 1  Basildon Utd | Recreation Way | Att: 169

The Bees got their second straight win with this late success at Mildenhall. Rhys Fatt got the only goal on the cusp of the 90 minutes to rise to tenth place. Mildenhall’s 6th loss in their last nine sees them bang in trouble in 18th, level on points with both Romford and Dereham in the relegation spots.

Romford  0 – 4  Bury Town   |Rookery Hill  | Att: 103

Bury added to Boro’s recent pains with a comprehensive win at Rookery Hill. Cemal Ramadan put the visitors ahead on the quarter-hour from the penalty spot. That slender lead carried to half-time though Town made it two six minutes after the break thanks to Ryan Jolland’s strike and late goals from Ramadan [ 82’] and Ryan Horne [89’] put gloss on Town’s fourth win in their last seven. They rise to 6th, four points shy of the play-offs. Romford remain in 19th.

Tilbury  0 – 3  Soham Town Rangers | Chadfields | Att: 123

Soham continued their fine recent form with a surprise win at Chadfields. Three goals in the last quarter of the match sealed the triumph. They fall to 14th.

Round-up: Bostik Division North (Sat 5 Jan) [BLN 6.1.19]

Written by Scott W [Twitter: @ScottMHC14]

Hello and welcome to the first Bostik North round-up piece of the new year, on a day where there were no draws at all in the ten matches in the division.

Saturday 5th Jan

AFC Sudbury  0 – 2  Aveley  | King’s Marsh (3G) | Att: 255

Aveley continued their almost unblemished recent form with a good win at King’s Marsh. Tom Rochardson broke the stalemate on 33 minutes to put thevisitors ahead. That lead was doubled nine minutes into the second-half by influential forward Andy Freeman. The Millers picked up their seventh win in their last ten outings to go into 4th place, five points off the promotion spot. The Suds saw their four-match winning run end here though still sit in 6th place, five points adrift of the play-offs.

Barking  5 – 1  Basildon Utd  | Mayesbrook Park  | Att: 72

The Blues added more misery to the Bees with this comprehensive win at mayesbrook Park. Justin Gardner’s side were three up by the half-hour as Kemo Darboe 5th-minute opener was added to by a brace by former Ware forward Ross Elsom [16′ & 26′]. Darelle Russell made it four, six minutes before the interval. Jeffrey Cobblah struck Basildon’s consolation [53′] though new boss Neil Blackburn’s re-building job isn’t going to be easy. Abs Seymour rounded out the scoring by getting the hosts’ fifth with six minutes remaining. Barking have won three of their last five matches which sees them reside in 12th spot. Basildon’s eighth loss in their last eleven matches sees them drop to 11th, a point clear of their opponents here.

Canvey Island  2 – 1  Mildenhall Town   | Park Lane  | Att: 208

Adam Vyse inspired Canvey to success over struggling Mildenhall. Town did take the lead in this one though through Abouhadje Kouassi [25′]. Vyse levelled matters from the penalty spot, seven minutes before the break. Vyse then got the winner with 16 minutes remaining to give the Islanders their third win in five matches, which sees them up to 9th spot. The Hall are winless in seven matches now, which sees the remain second-bottom, two points from safety.

Felixstowe & Walton Utd  3 – 0  Coggeshall Town  | Dellwood Ave  | Att: 560

Felixstowe upset Cogg to claim a much sought-after three points at Dellwood Avenue. All three goals came in a twenty-minute spell. First, Rhys Henry broke the deadlock right on the hour, and a brace from Josh Kerridge [73′ & 80′] sealed their first win in seven matches. They rise to 13th while Coggeshall drop to 5th, five points clear of nearest rivals Sudbury.

Grays Athletic  3 – 2  Bury Town   | Parkside (3G)  | Att: 192

Grays battled to victory in a match which saw most of the goal action after the innterval. Kieran Bishop added to his glowing reputation with the Ath fans with the opener just before half-time. Kyran Clements got an equaliser on 72 minutes though barely four minutes later, Bishop struck again to restore the home side’s lead. Aron Gordon made it 3 – 1 on 82 minutes and although Ryan Horne added a 90th-minute second for the visitors, it wasn’t enough to deny Ath a first win in five outings and go above their opponents here into 7th place.

Great Wakering Rovers  2 – 4  Maldon & Tiptree  | Burroughs Park  | Att: 103

Maldon came away with the points from this tussle at Burroughs Park. Wayne Brown’s side had the better of the first half as DeCarrey Sheriff’s spot-kick put them ahead on 16  minutes, before Sammie Mcleod’s brace [30′ & 32′] put the Jammers well ahead. Jake Gordon pulled one back for a stubborn Wakering side 12 minutes before the break. The first period ended with Sham Barnwell netting for the hosts and Sheriff grabbing his second for the visitors. The visitors held on without further incident to achieve their fourth win in their last six to stay third. Wakering’s 4th loss in their last seven sees them drop to 15th.

Heybridge Swifts  1 – 0  Bowers & Pitsea  | Scraley Road  | Att: 329

This battle of the top-two went the way of the hosts, with recent signing Charlie Kendall grabbing the only goal on 62 minutes. Bowers’ five match-winning run is over  while Swifts continue to impress under boss Julian Dicks as they are unbeaten in seven matches now.

Soham Town Rangers  4 – 0  Romford  | Julius Martin Lane  | Att: 136

Soham won this ‘six-pointer’ with something to spare in the end to consign Boro to their sixth loss in their last seven. Soham were two goals up inside the first 20 minutes as Sam Mulready continued his fine scoring form with the opener on 11 minutes, before Callum Russell [18′] doubled the lead. Mulready put the game realistically beyond doubt with his second of the afternoon, ten minutes after the break. Michael Baulk added a late fourth to give his side a second straight victory to send them above their opponents into 17th, four points above the bottom two. Romford are two points behind Soham in 18th.

Tilbury  4 – 2  Dereham Town   | Chadfields  |  Att: 101

The Dockers continued their fine run with a good win over bottom side Dereham. The visitors took the lead through David Hinton’s goal on 21 minutes though that advantage only lasted six minutes before talisman Lewis Smith levelled the match. A brace from influential midfielder Thomas Barton [56′ & 64′] turned the course of the game. Smith got his second of the day with 11 minutes to play. Joe Gatting grabbed a second for Town on the stroke of the 90 though the visitors winless run extends to nine matches. By contrast, Marc Harrison’s team has only tasted defeat once in eight matches and go up to tenth spot.

Witham Town  2 – 1  Brentwood Town  | Spa Road  | Att: 117

Witham extended their winning run to five matches with a hard-fought win over Brentwood at Spa Road. Ernest Okoh gave the visitors the lead on 24 minutes though Town restored parity ten minutes afterward through Toby Aromolaran and then led on the stroke of half-time thanks to Luke Mallett’s penalty.  Witham sit 16th, seven points clear of the drop zone while Town slip to 14th because of results elsewhere.

Round-up: Bostik Division North (Fri 16/Sat 17 Nov) [BLN 18.11.18]

Written by Scott W (Twitter: @ScottMHC14)

Hello and welcome to the latest of my regular round-ups of the action in Bostik Division North this weekend. How did your side do? Following that are the results from both the Bostik South Central and Bostik South East Divisions this weekend.

Friday 16th Nov

BLN

Witham Town   1 – 3  Aveley  | Spa Road  | Att: 166

Aveley started off the weekend’s action with a win at Spa Road. Tom Richardson put the visitors here ahead after only three minutes, although Johnny Ashman levelled for Town only six minutes later. The Millers found another gear after the break though as goals from Sam Cross [49’] and Reggie Hubbard [90’] saw them to a fourth straight win and leave their hosts still bottom of the standings.

Sat 17th Nov

Barking  2 – 1  Soham Town Rangers | Mayesbrook Park | Att: 73

The Blues took advantage of a good start here to record their third win in their last six outings. Joshua Davidson broke the deadlock after seven minutes before Darelle Russell made it two with 34 minutes on the watch. Soham responded late on through prolific scorer Sam Mulready though they fell to their 5th loss in their last six matches and remain second-bottom. Barking sit 12th.

Basildon Utd  0 – 1  Felixstowe & Walton Utd   | Gardiners Close | Att: 100

The new era at the Bees under joint-managers Michael Walther and Lee Connor started with a narrow defeat at home to Felixstowe. Sam Ford got the only goal after 27 minutes to the visitors to their sixth win of the season thus far and they reside in ninth place. Basildon’s winless stretch extends to six matches now and therefore drop to 5th place.

Brentwood Town  3 – 0  Bowers & Pitsea   | Brentwood Arena  | Att: 190

Town got arguably the result of their league season thus far by defeating under-par Bowers and consequently ending their unbeaten streak this term. The hosts broke the stalemate thanks to goalkeeper James Pellin’s long free-kick midway through the first half. Two former Bowers players struck the other goals with Ryan Mallett [49’] and substitute Charlee Hughes [82’] also netting to give Craig Shipman’s men their third win of the campaign. Rob Small’s side remain top on goal difference.

Bury Town  2 – 3  Coggeshall Town   | Ram Meadow  | Att: 372

Coggeshall went joint-top of the division after coming through in this thriller at Ram Meadow. Cemal Ramadan’s spot-kick after four minutes gave the hosts the lead though two quick-fire goals from Curtis Haynes-Brown [12’] and Connor Hubble [20’] turned the tide in the visitors’ favour. Ollie Hughes then struck two minutes before the break to make it even-stevens again. Ross Wall got the decisive strike nine minutes after the interval to see Cogg to their sixth win in their last seven matches. Bury remain 8th.

Canvey Island  0 – 2  AFC Sudbury   | Park Lane  | Att: 214

The Suds continued their upturn in form with this good win at out-of-form Canvey. First-half goals from Reece Harris [18’] and Thomas Monk [24’] saw the visitors to the win and have only lost one of their last seven now. Canvey have won only one of their last seven themselves and drop to 12th place.

Grays Athletic  5 – 1  Dereham Town  | Parkside (3G) | Att: 188

Another cracker of a performance saw Ath to a big win at Parkside. It started poorly for Jamie Stuart’s side as Joe Gatting put Town ahead on seven minutes. The hosts showed their spirit soon after as Tommy Wade levelled on the quarter-hour before Joao Carlos’ spot-kick put the hosts ahead just two minutes later. Wade’s second on 59 minutes plus late strikes by Mitchell Hahn [80’] and Michael Finneran four minutes afterward steered Ath to their 5th win in their last six matches, they rise to 6th while Dereham drop to 14th.

Great Wakering Rovers  3 – 2  Heybridge Swifts  | Burroughs Park | Att: 237

Rovers continued their good start to life back in Isthmian North by edging this cracker at Burroughs Park. Jake Gordon’s penalty on eight minutes put them ahead though Odei Martin restored parity for Swifts seven minutes later. Billy Johnson handed the lead back to Garry Kimble’s side on 33 minutes and after Gordon grabbed his brace four minutes into the second half, the hosts had the initiative.
Swifts are made of tough stuff though and Kreshnic Krasniqi’s strike eight minutes from time made it a nervy end, despite Heybridge being down to ten men after forward Matt Price’s dismissal. Wakering’s fifth win this term sees them rise to tenth while Swifts’ first loss under boss Julian Dicks sees them fall to seventh.

Maldon & Tiptree  0 – 0  Tilbury   | Park Drive  | Att: 137

New Dockers boss Marc Harrison began his tenure with a more than respectable draw at Maldon. Maldon are a tough side to beat though with only two defeats in seven now residing in 4th spot while third-bottom Tilbury haven’t won in seven outings now.

Mildenhall Town   2 – 1  Romford  | Recreation Way  | Att: 149

A good first 45 minutes saw Town to eventual victory over Boro at Recreation Way. Emmanuel Osei-Owuso’s eighth-minute strike put the hosts ahead before Aboudhadje Kouassi doubled that advantage ten minutes before the break. Henry Fisher did give Paul Martin’s side hope by reducing the deficit on 61 minutes though they still fell to their 5th straight loss and sit 16th. Town go level on points with their opponents here in 17th after ending their own four-match losing run.

Here’s your results from the Bostik South Central & South East divisions now:

20181118_145419-1

20181118_145427

Before I close, we heard the sad news this week that long-serving Isthmian League President and former Chairman Alan Turvey has died at the age of 85. My very best thoughts to Alan’s family and I am aware he was held in very high regard by many people in Non-League for many years.

That’s all for this week, thank you for reading.

Round-up: Bostik Division North (Sat 3rd Nov) [BLN 3.11.18]

Written by Scott W (Twitter: @ScottMHC14)

Hello & welcome to another round of the Bostik North round-up, here on the blog. This article looks at the action in the first weekend of November How did your side do?

Friday 2nd November

Witham Town  1 – 1    Heybridge Swifts   | Spa Road  | Att: 273

The action started on Friday night which saw Witham do well to hold Heybridge to a share of the points at Spa Road. Andrew Tirivanhu put the hosts ahead on 19 minutes though Swifts star man Harrison Chatting levelled six minutes later and the match ended all-square. This improved showing by Town ended their five-match losing run while Heybridge’s four-match winning run also ended here.

Saturday 3th November

Barking  2 – 4   Felixstowe & Walton Utd   | Mayesbrook Park  | Att: 64

The Blues were out-matched by a strong Felixstowe performance in this early kick-off at Mayesbrook Park. Utd led by three goals by the half-hour mark thanks to Josh Kerridge [8′], Jack Ainsley [12′] and Miles Powell [29′] and although Justin Gardner’s men did respond before the break through Daniel Cheema’s strike [38′], they were very much against it. Late on, Joe Bruce  [87′] converted a spot-kick before Joseph Francis capped a fine day for F & W with his goal a minute from time. The visitors ended a four-match winless run here.

Basildon Utd  0 – 4  Bowers & Pitsea    | Gardiners Close  | Att: 408

The Bees were heavily beaten in the ‘El Basico’ derby. Two of Bowers’ stand-out performers thus far this season, David Knight and Quentin Monville really flouished again in this match, watched by over 400 fans. Knight opened the scoring on 11 minutes, before Monville [37′] made it two. Knight’s penalty made it three on 57 minutes before Monville wrapped up a big win late on to retain Bowers unbeaten start to the season from 11 matches. Basildon’s fourth match without a win was compounded by the surprise news that following a ‘reorganisation’, manager Marc Harrison has sadly stepped down following a highly-successful spell in charge.

Brentwood Town  1 – 2  Dereham Town  | Brentwood Arena  | Att: 135

Dereham battled past Brentwood to claim the points. Goals from David Hinton [38′] and Adam Hipperson [59′] gave Neal Simmons’ side a strong lead before Kojo Apenteng halved that lead on 68 minutes though the visitors held on to claim the win. Brentwood are in a bit of a stutter with one win in their last seven matches.

Bury Town  1 – 2    Aveley   | Ram Meadow  | Att: 299

The bulk of the action in this match cropped up in the last half-hour. Aveley’s quick-fire double from Andy Freeman [65′] and Tom Richardson [70′] put them in a good position and although Jake Chambers-Shaw pulled one back on 82 minutes , Town fell to their third loss in their last five matches. The Millers picked up their 4th win in their last five here.

Canvey Island  2 – 0  Romford   | Park Lane | Att: 200

Canvey battled to another win at Park lane. Jordan Cox [68′] and Ryan Melaugh [76′] goals saw Mark Bentley’s side to their first win in five matches while Paul Martin’s side have lost their last four.

Grays Athletic 3 – 2   Tilbury    | Parkside  | Att: 258

The returning hero Kieran Bishop had a hand in this victory over the Dockers in this local derby. Lewis Jaggs’ OG [8′] put the hosts ahead before Bishop made it two on 57 minutes. Another OG from Grays’ Ryan Mahal five minutes later gave Joe Keith’s side a chance. Aron Gordon [85′] extended the hosts’ lead though a penalty from Lewis Smith rounded out the scoring. Ath have only lost one of their last seven league matches now while Tilbury are winless in five.

Great Wakering Rovers  1 – 1  AFC Sudbury  |  Burroughs Park   | Att: 104

GWR were held by the Suds at Burroughs Park. Brandy Makhendi put the hosts ahead a minute into the second-half before John Mbamrah’s own-goal two minutes later ended up securing a point for a Sudbury side who are recovering from a poor start to the season.

Maldon & Tiptree  1 – 0   Soham Town Rangers   | Park Drive  | Att: 124

Maldon picked up a narrow win thanks to George Sykes’ goal on the stroke of half-time. Soham’s torrid season continues as they fell to their fourth straight loss.

Mildenhall Town  2 – 4   Coggesshall Town    | Recreation Way  |  Att: 181

Finally, Coggeshall bounced back from a slow start to power their way to their fourth win in their last five. Jarid Robson put the Hall ahead three minutes in, though Curtis Haynes-Brown’s deflected strike [15′] and top-scorer Sam Bantick [45′] turned things around. Ross Wall [63′] made it three and though Hall threatened a comeback through Emmanuel Osei-Owuso on 86 minutes, Tom Monk’s 90th-minute strike ensured the win. Mildenhall fell to their third straight loss.

That’s all for this round-up, thanks for reading.

Saturday 1st September

AFC Sudbury  0 – 1   Bowers & Pitsea    | King’s Marsh (3G)   |  Att: 287

Bowers showed all their guile to come away with the points, despite being a man light for over an hour of this encounter at King’s Marsh. Quentin Monville grabbed the only goal on 14 minutes. Prolific scorer David KNight had a day to forget though as he was dismissed just shy of the half-hour point. Rob Small’s side held firm though to claim the win and preserve their unbeaten start. Sudbury fell to their second defeat thus far this term.

Barking   3 – 0   Romford     | Mayesbrook Park  | Att: 101

Barking defeated Romford to claim their first win of the campaign. A brace from recent signing Darelle Russell [29′ & 77′] and a Joe Bruce penalty in added-time secured the points for Justin Gardner’s side and also ended Romford’s unbeaten start to the season.

Canvey Island  2 – 0   Bury Town   |  Park Lane  | Att: 205

Canvey got their first win since the opening day with this success over Bury Town. An early strike from Frankie Merrifield [8′] set them on their way before a late second from Marlon Agyakwa ten miutes before the end sealed the win. Town fell to their second defeat thus far this term here.

Felixstowe & Walton Utd   2 – 0   Aveley    |  Dellwood Avenue | Att: 405

Felixstowe achieved a good win over previously unbeaten Aveley at Dellwood Avenue. Jordan Matthews struck ten minutes before half-time to put his side ahead. Sam Ford [90′] grabbed a late second though a minor blip saw substitute Ben Clarke dismissed in added-time for the hosts who have three wins from their opening four matches now.

Grays Athletic  0 – 5  Maldon & Tiptree   | Parkside (3G) | Att: 132

Maldon blew away ten-man Grays at Parkside. Club stalwart Joao Carlos got his marching orders after just 22 minutes and the Jammers made the most of the man advantage with Decarrey Sheriff [29′] and Shane Cojocarel [38′] netting before half-time. After the interval, the pain continued for Ath as Chris Millar [58′], Sheriff’s second on 68 minutes and a strike from Jack Cawley 11 minutes from time ensured Maldon got their their third straight win here. Grays haven’t won since the opening day.

Great Wakering Rovers  1 – 1  Brentwood Town  | Burroughs Park  | Att: 110

These two old rivals shared the spoils at Burroughs Park. Brentwood led thanks to Albert Levett’s spot-kick on 19 minutes. That lead was duly vanquished ten minutes later as Simon Thomas levelled for Rovers. The stalemate prevailed as both sides seek to get a few wins under their belts early-doors this season.

Heybridge Swifts   0 – 3    Dereham Town     | Scraley Road    | Att: 287

Dereham picked up an excellent win over Swifts at Scraley Road. Daniel Beaumont put them ahead on 27 minutes before further strikes from Ollie Ebbage [63′] and substitute George Quantrell [85′] made sure of their second win of the season. Heybridge have won two and lost two thus far.

Soham Town Rangers   0 – 3    Coggeshall Town   |  Julius Martin Lane  |  Att: 182

A bumper crowd saw Bury Town edge to victory in a match where both sides ended up with ten men. Saturday 11th August

Aveley  6 – 0 Dereham Town   | Venue: Parkside  | Att: 288

Aveley smashed past Dereham on opening day in a match which featured no fewer than six different goalscorers. Harry Gibbs [16′] and George Doyle [34′] got the party going before after the break, Freddie Gard [57′], Alex Akrofi [61′], Andy Freeman [64′] plus a Tom Richardson penalty two minutes afterward sealed a memorable day for James Webster’s side. Town will no doubt be looking to forget this horror-show quickly.

Canvey Island  1 – 0   Barking   | Venue: Park Lane | Att: 253

The Islanders edged a battle of two top-half sides from last season at Park Lane. Mitchell Gilbey’s strike on 18 minutes was the difference for Danny Heale’s men as they look to go one better than last term – promotion.

Coggeshall Town  0 – 0  Bowers & Pitsea | Att: 242

Bowers introduced much-fancied Coggeshall to the rigours of Isthmian League football and held them in this stalemate. Both sides will look to be among the top six come season’s end.

Felixstowe & Walton Utd   3 – 1   Bury Town |  Venue: The Goldstar Gound | Att: 567

Early firepower from the Bostik newcomers Felixstowe & Walton assisted them to a good win here. New signing Rhys Henry bagged the opener just five minutes in and it stayed that way at the break. Miles Powell [49′] and Rhys Barber [53′] strikes put the hosts in a strong position and although Town pulled one back on 64 minutes through Ryan Horne it wasn’t enough to rescue the match.

Heybridge Swifts  2 – 0   Soham Town Rangers
| Venue: Scraley Road | Att: 214

Heybridge started their campaign well thanks to goals from Sam Bantick on the hour and Luke Callander [79′] as Jody Brown’s side look to build on the impetus of last season’s stand-out campaign.

Mildenhall Town  1 – 1   Maldon & Tiptree  | Att: 205

The Hall recovered sharply after falling behind to claim a share of the spoils. Decarrey Sheriff broke the deadlock with 15 minutes left though the hosts only needed four minutes before Luke Butcher levelled. A point each is how it finished.

Romford  3 – 0  Great Wakering Rovers  | Rookery Hill |  Att: 116

Paul martin’s side started their campaign with a very encouraging victory at the expense of Wakering at their new ‘home’ of Rookery Hill. The hosts were two goals up inside ten minutes as Kris Newby [5′] and Jonathon Nzengo [9′] struck. Jake Gordon missed a penalty on the half-hour for the visitors and on 73 minutes, Ex-Barkingside forward Roddy Lemba secured the points for Boro.

Tilbury 0 – 4 AFC Sudbury  | Chadfields | Att: 120

The Suds powered to victory with a strong display. Billy Holland struck first five minutes before half-time before Phil kelly doubled that advantage ten minutes after the restart. Further goals by Callum Harrison on the hour and Darryl Coakley [80′] sealed the deal for the visitors.

Witham Town 0 – 2 Grays Athletic | Spa Road | Att: 144

Grays struck early-doors to assist them in a decent victory against Witham and their new boss Mark Ashford.  New signings Shomari barnwell [3′] & Mitch Hahn [17′] provided the goals as they put in a good display as they look to improve on last season’s mid-table fiinish.
