Hello & welcome to another round-up of Bostik Division North action and South results this weekend, starting with a solitary match on Friday night in Bostik South.

AFC Hornchurch 0 – 1 Witham Town
| Venue: Bridge Avenue | Attendance: 174
Witham picked up a priceless three points with a late, late winner at Bridge Avenue. An injury-time winner from Correy Davidson was enough to give Witham only their third win of the league season whilst the Urchins fell to a second straight loss and subsequently down to 5th place.
Brentwood Town 1 – 2 Bury Town
| Venue: Brentwood Arena | Attendance: 106
Bury Town weathered a late comeback from Brentwood to pick up the win at the Brentwood Arena. Goals from Tommy Robinson [36′] and Cemal Ramadan [55′] put the visitors in a good position though Brendan Cavalier pulled one back for the hosts with six minutes remaining. Bury held on though for their third win in their last five matches and consign Brentwood to their eighth loss this term.
Grays Athletic 2 – 2 Cheshunt

Cheshunt fought back to claim a point in a real ‘game of two halves’ at Parkside. Things started well for Grays as a quick-fire Adeyinka Cole brace [ 28′ & 31′] gave Ath the advantage at the break. The turning point came just shy of the hour as home goalkeeper Lamar Johnson was dismissed. Soon after, Jason Hallett halved the deficit for the Ambers from the spot. Hallett struck again a minute from time to deny the hosts the win. Despite this, Grays are now unbeaten in their last five matches while Cheshunt have only won one of their last five matches now.
Haringey Borough 2 – 1 Dereham Town

All the goal action came after the break in this one at Cole Park as Haringey prevailed late on. Lawrence Yiga gave the hosts the lead on 67 minutes, before Jamie Forshaw [80′] levelled things for Dereham. Anthony McDonald’s 90th minute winner continued Tom Loizou’s side’s unbeaten run in the league term, now at 12 matches. Dereham’s six-match winning streak is over though they still sit at the ‘top of the tree’, two points ahead of their opponents here.
Hertford Town 1 – 0 Canvey Island
| Venue: Hertingfordbury Park | Attendance: 260
In-form Canvey fell to a narrow loss at Hertford. Michael Toner got the only goal of the game 20 minutes in as the hosts grabbed their fourth win in their last five league matches and in doing so ended the Islanders’ nine-match unbeaten league run. Canvey stay second though Hertford are continuing to impress in seventh place.
Maldon & Tiptree 3 – 1 Aveley
| Venue: Park Drive Attendance: 90
Maldon continued their excellent recent league run by securing a good win over out-of-form Aveley at Park Drive. Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe set the hosts on their way after ten minutes and then second-half goals from Johnville Renee [54′] and substitute Kieran Bailey [88′] sealed the points before a late consolation for the Millers through George Doyle on the stroke of full-time. The Jammers are now unbeaten in their last eight matches while Aveley haven’t won in six matches.
Mildenhall Town 1 – 1 Bowers & Pitsea
| Venue: Recreation Way | Attendance: 142
Bowers were denied the win in the last moment of the match at Recreation Way. David Knight [31′] had given Rob Small’s side the lead though with the last kick of the match, goalkeeper Sam Roach struck to grab a point for the Hall. Bowers still rise to 4th spot while the hosts end a four-match league losing run here.
Norwich Utd 1 – 1 Barking
| Venue: Plantation Park | Attendance: 92
Barking recovered to take a point at Plantation Park. Adam Hipperson [31′] put Utd ahead though Jay Knight levelled on 61 minutes to eventually secure a share of the spoils. Barking are now unbeaten in their last four matches.
Potters Bar Town 2 – 1 Romford
| Venue: Pakex Stadium | Attendance: 123
Potters Bar secured the points against struggling Romford at the Pakex Stadium. A Eoin Casey brace [32′ & 59′] gave the Scholars the advantage, though Jonathon Nzengo havled the arrears with 17 minutes left. Romford remain bottom of the pile having won just one of their 14 matches this term.
Soham Town Rangers 3 – 1 Waltham Abbey
| Venue: Julius Martin Lane | Attendance: 127
Soham secured a welcome three points at Julius Martin Lane. Marcus Hall put the hosts ahead in the first minute though Darelle Russell levelled six minutes later. Craig Gillies [16′] restored the hosts’ lead before Callum Russell secured the win from the spot on 58 minutes. Jordan Lee was dismissed for the hosts late on for two bookings though Soham rise to 17th spot while Abbey are in tenth place.
Ware 1 – 1 AFC Sudbury

Ware snuck a point late on against the Suds at Wodson Park. Jamie Eaton-Collins gave the visitors the lead on six minutes though when Tyler French got his second yellow card late on, the visitors were down to ten men. Murat Karagul struck with seconds left to grab a point though Ware still haven’t won in their last five league matches.
